Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards, delivering reliable electrical solutions that power our clients' operations. Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage circuits in commercial and industrial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations
  • Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and ensure proper system functionality
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components to support industrial electrical operations
  • Conduct renovations and upgrades on existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols
  • Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and handymen to coordinate electrical work within broader project timelines
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections in compliance with NEC standards

Requirements

  • Valid license as a Journeyman Electrician with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and low/high voltage systems.
  • Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
  • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects and new installations.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics related to automation systems.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while following all safety regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
