Job Description
We are seeking experienced Construction Safety Professionals that will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our safety programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of safety principles, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating hazards.
Daily per diem is being offered for this position, 100.00 per day.
Multiple projects located nationwide, starting in KS
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the overall safety of the project, including administration and enforcement of the Site Safety Plan. Works with site team to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and health standards. Investigates all safety and property damage incidents. Submits all incident reports to Sr. EHS leadership team. Leads weekly all hands Safety meetings. Leads by example on appropriate safe work practices and PPE. Leads Safety Observation Reporting (SOR) program.
Daily
- Daily observations and site walks.
- Present daily safety topics, weather, for Daily meetings and client POD's.
- Participate in daily stretch and flex.
Weekly
- Site orientations (or as needed).
- Lead all hands safety meeting.
- Attend weekly internal project meetings.
Monthly
- Conduct monthly site audit.
- Review velocity reports for leading and lagging indicators.
- Assist craft superintendents with updating JHA.
- Cross train with environmental coordinator.
Requirements
- Current Active OSHA 500/510 (Required).
- 4+ years in construction safety experience.
- 1-2 years Renewable Energy and electrical is a plus.
- PPE.
- Safety Professional: 4 years (Required).
- CHST Certification (Required).
